This training is recommended for all practitioners and adviser working with SMSFs.

A Live Instructor Led Webinar

We’re now in year one of Division 296 and this timely webinar focuses squarely on what the first year means in practice for trustees, advisers and administrators. The session concentrates on the transitional rules and the practical steps firms must take during the 2026–27 year to manage compliance risk, client conversations and backoffice implementation.

Attendees will be taken through illustrative scenarios and worked examples that highlight how transitional arrangements operate in typical client circumstances, and what advisers should flag to SMSF trustees and Div 296 in-scope members.

With the emphasis on readiness and compliance assurance, this webinar will enable participants to confidently apply transitional rules while monitoring for further administrative guidance or ATO clarifications.
