A Live Instructor Led Webinar
Not every SMSF compliance breach is intentional, but when things go wrong understanding the potential implications and what can be done to mitigate them and get an SMSF back on track is important. This webinar presents real‑world SMSF case studies drawn from queries submitted to our Helpdesk.
Member from our SMSF Education Team will walk through unexpected, unintentional mishaps that have occurred in practice, explain how they arose, and set out the trustee actions and administrative steps taken in response. They will identify the contraventions or risks, and the practical steps administrators and accountants should take when these issues arise.
They will also examine the income tax consequences of each scenario and whether correction pathways were available — including remediation options, ATO reporting considerations and the likely tax outcomes for the fund and members.
