Frank La Spada from Seamless SMSF joins us for the second in our Audit series to explore the most common breaches that reported to the ATO.

Frank will review the reporting criteria for lodging an Auditors Contravention Report (ACR) and explain why not all contraventions are reportable to the ATO but can still hold up the audit process.

  • The reporting criteria to determine which contraventions are reported to the ATO.
  • The difference between Part A and Part B of the audit report and what the auditor is required to check.
  • The checks the auditor will not perform as part of their audit.

He has extensive experience in Self-Managed Superannuation Funds (SMSFs), Pension Funds, Income Tax and Financial Advisory. He is a Fellow of the CPA, IPA and SMSF Association, and received the 2018 SMSF Association CEO award in February 2019 for his contribution to the association and was in the inaugural group of association members to advance to the status of Fellow in February 2020.

Mark has spent over 30 years in accounting practices and SMSF administration companies, including running his own accountancy practice and SMSF administration and compliance advice company for ten years.

Anthony CullenAnthony has nearly 25 years of experience in the accounting and SMSF industry.
